Also a DJ, parent, and marketing manager by day. In the 2010’s Eric released on labels like Nervous Records, Get Physical & won a Beatport remix competition out of 300 submissions. Keeping an ear & eye in the underground he launched his label Devilish Affair in the 2020s to self-release. As a newcomer to record shops, his vinyl releases topped the charts at Decks.de, Eric can be found DJ’ing in New York & Washington DC.

The program is beginner friendly for best results you should be comfortable with playing a set for friends at a small house party or able to record a mix at home that you’d also like to share online.
Production helps but is not required. You don’t need to produce or want to start a label to develop your brand, set goals, network, or grow your audience on places like Instagram or Soundcloud. It is a good idea to have production as a longterm goal.
Yes, 2 (60 minute) lessons come with La Zic academy as of January 1, 2025. Cristina’s “Module 1 & Success Formula” is great for everyone as a starting point. After that focus on the 2-3 topics of most interest & then book a 1/1 with Cristina or Eric to validate a goals or branding plan, working on your own productions etc.

Our recommendation is to watch “Module 1 – Cristina’s case study and success formula first.” Goals are also important and after that go at your own pace depending on your needs & skill level.
The laptop or desktop you may dj or prep music on is preferable but the course is available on mobile devices too. Videos are hosted with Vimeo, where you can turn captions and transcripts on or off depending on your preference.
