La Zic academy went to Barcelona during Off Week – and what a beautiful start to something bigger this was! 🌙
Last week, we hosted our first in person La Zic Academy workshop during Off Week, and the energy in the room was unforgettable. Full house. A great balance of male and female DJs / producers showed up. And what brought us together? Music, ambition, and the desire to grow – together.
We covered:
🎙️ Branding & storytelling – helping DJs and producers carve out their artistic identity 💿 How to launch a label – with a special focus on vinyl 🎛️ The art of remixing – with a live session by the brilliant Andrew Azara
From first-time producers to emerging artists, we saw genuine connections being made.
People left with new ideas, fresh inspiration, and even records with their own music (I personally received a vinyl from one of our students and my heart is full 💗).
This was the first of many. Our mission with La Zic Academy is to support the next generation of artists with the knowledge, tools, and community they need to thrive. And if this event was any indication, we’re just getting started!
Big love to Dancing Vinyl record shop, Dylan Lodise, Eric Louis and Andrew Azara – and of course to everyone who joined us in Barcelona – thank you. See you at the next one 🚀 Check out the recap on Instagram below.
